Using WordPress
This page has a number of examples of options available to display photos in a WordPress blog. If you use WordPress, these plugins work fantastically.

Option 1: ‘Gallery’.
Displays thumbnails with link option to view as a slide show.

Option 2: View as a slide show.
(Images change every 5 seconds. Set change rate in Gallery Options.)

Option 3: Single Picture

Interesting way to display a group of miscellaneous photos.
